Like its sister sites Hellgate Guru and Mythos Guru, Demigod Guru aims to be totally “Web 2.0″ ready with integration with Google, Digg, Technorati and other cool web applications. Some of these features aren’t yet available while we still iron out the technical details, but stay tuned.

While much of the hype surrounding Demigod is more around the comparison to the Warcraft III custom map Defense of the Ancients (I can’t believe how many internet nerds are going into nerdrages over it), many are starting to forget about the unsung hero of Demigod, the true gentlemen of the entire game and who will be the focal point for many of the purchasers and fans. That man is the revered Magic Walking Castle.
“The Legend in all his glory”
Weighing at over 100 tons, this mammoth of an structure has risen from his brick and mortar roots to go on a murderous spree for little to no reason. Little is known about the history of the Walking Castle, except that he was at one point a glorious palace for a sultan and had many wenches run amongst his hallowed halls. I am in love with this gigantic Walking Castle god, he seems like quite the character indeed. While many other gods take the form of cliche things such as dragons, angels and giants, very few gods think to turn into a building and then arise from the ground to walk around and generally ruin other people’s shit.
Confirmed Rumors of the Walking Castle so far:
He is not a very nice guy and likes to take his anger out on things that are smaller and/or weaker then him. In reality, he’s kind of big jerk — why would anyone hang out with him?

I am hoping that the Demigod development crew focuses the game 100% around this big ol’ hunk and that they go for a Shadow of the Colossus style game where it will take hundreds of people to take down this one man. Once more is known about him (IE: His favorite Ice Cream flavor, what his dreams are etc…) I will make sure to tell all of you every single last detail whether you want to know or not! Oh Castle-san, take me away to dream world where we can be happy together forever and I can live in you and not pay horrendous California rent.
